SOPHIA TREANOR - DIRECTOR
Sophia Treanor is a director, performer, and educator. She worked with Mary Overlie as a student, assistant, and dancer throughout the United States, Europe, and China from 2011 until Overlie’s death in June of 2020. Sophia was Overlie’s improvisation and research partner in performance and practice, and had the honor of performing Overlie’s choreography as a soloist. Sophia directs the Six Viewpoints Legacy Planning Committee as well as the Mary Overlie Artist Estate. Sophia’s live performance work has been seen in private and public spaces, theaters, and galleries across New York City. She is currently teaching at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting and co-curating the Harold Clurman Center for New Works in Movement and Dance Theater. Sophia yearns to listen to and illuminate the infinite exchange between environment, perception, and consciousness.

ADAM GUNDERSHEIMER - DIRECTOR, CINEMATOGRAPHER
Adam Gundersheimer is a cinematographer and filmmaker. Adam graduated from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts in 2011 with a concentration in cinematography. He has been the cinematographer on over one hundred short films, music videos, documentaries, and commercial projects. He has filmed commercial work for Nike, The New York Times, J. Crew, and other major brands. Adam’s short films have played at multiple prestigious film festivals and his music videos have generated millions of views. He co-produced the feature length documentary Monkey Business about the creators of Curious George, and directed the short documentary Kay about a hard-of-hearing woman receiving a cochlear implant. Adam is particularly dedicated to the craft of documentary and hopes to be an amplifier of quiet or unheard stories.

HANNAH GROSS - PRODUCER
Hannah Gross is a Canadian writer and performer based in New York. She is an advisory board member and frequent collaborator with the Brooklyn-based experimental theatre company The Million Underscores, has performed in theatres in Toronto and New York, and has acted in numerous film and television productions including I Used to Be Darker, Stinking Heaven, The Mountain, Tesla, Falling (2020 Sundance, Cannes, and TIFF premieres), The Sinner (USA) and Mindhunter (Netflix). She was a 2018 artist-in-residence at Arteles Creative Center in Finland, a 2019 MacDowell Artist Colony Fellow, and is a current fellow of the 2020 Oxbelly Screenwriters & Directors Lab. She graduated with a BFA from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts in 2012. Hannah was fortunate enough to count Mary Overlie as a close friend and mentor. A relationship that began as a student at NYU’s Experimental Theatre Wing and continued until Mary’s death, Hannah had the privilege of accompanying Mary to workshops in Europe and of performing in Brain to Brain: A Celebration of the Life and Work of Mary Overlie a​t St. Mark’s Danspace in 2019.

NICOLAS NOREÑA - ARCHIVAL RESEARCHER
Nicolas Noreña is a Colombian theater maker based in Brooklyn. He is the artistic director of The Million Underscores. With his company he has developed, produced, directed and designed over ten original productions that have been presented at The Museum of Modern Art, FringeNYC, The Exponential Festival, The Brick Theater, Triskelion Arts, and Target Margin Theater among others. As a performer he has worked with Richard Foreman, Mary Overlie, The Talking Band, Jess Barbagallo, and Object Collection. He was a LEIMAY fellow 2014-2020, was a LAB artist with Target Margin Theater in 2019 and was a resident artist with MABOU MINES 2015-2016. Nicolás met Mary Overlie in 2008. She was his teacher, mentor and friend, they traveled the country and abroad teaching workshops and performing. He currently teaches her work at the Experimental Theater Wing in New York University, and is also part of the Six Viewpoints Legacy Planning Committee.
